The tropical rainforest floor layer or forest floor is the ground layer of this biome.

Rainforests are unique and consist of four different layers of plant life that are home to many different species of flora and fauna and that vary in accordance with the amount of water air and sunlight they receive. The forest flooris the darkest of all rainforest layers making it extremely difficult for plants to grow. It is actually rather the opposite.
